Workertülli moving out

Not only will Monday be my first "real" day as (knowledge - muahaha...) worker (to which I do not have to show up before 1.30 pm which is a good thing considering the big festival taking place this weekend) - no, because I always...ehm....mostly get what I want I am also about to sign the contract for the appartmant I wanted to have the moment I walked in. Which, by the way, is also the reason why I always have to say "I do not have I clue, I did not care, I JUST WANT TO MOVE IN THERE!!!" whenever my mum asks stuff like "how does this and that look like, does it have this and that" etc. One just has to love it - it's basically just a bedroom plus a big open additional room also including kitchen, which is kind of what I wanted as all those "3.5 roomers" just were too "dispersed" in their spreading space over several rather small rooms instead of just creating one big space to "work with". Shopping furniture actually begins to be fun.

So feel free to visit me in my home sweet new home starting October 1st. Here's the plan, Stan (I know nobody out there except for my role model from South Park is called like that, IT'S JUST A SAYING which Yidir, the Dutch guy @Monitor, somehow liked to use. This explanation just because recently a guy on MSN wanted to make me believe he was surfing under a wrong account and went like: "I told you I wasn't xy! And I AM NO STAN!!!")

Da most exciting photostory EVVA!!!

(I'm not making that part above up...) You see: I bought a new camera because my old one wasn't working anymore (embarrassing story...) and too expensive to repair. So here's trying it out. First my "new" room (till I move out, which will hopefully be rather soon though it's actually really nice here):
And here you can see our living room with those great relaxing chairs. Yeah, there's only 2 of them but mostly me as a guest somehow still manages to grab one of them. Except for "Grey's Anatomy"-Mondays...
Yesterday Sunday we walked from our home (sweet home) to Germany (Lörrach), because they have a nice and cheap Greek restaurant there. It only took us more than 2 hours to get there - guess that justified eating that much there including several starters and drinking all this ouzo and wine. Before entering the restaurant I saw the menu praising a "Rehakles-plate" and said "I would never take something that stupid - named after Greece's soccer coach?!". Well, it turned out this was the absolutely best dish they had, so I had to back up from my previous statement - tons of Kalamari, Gyros, a meat skewer, potatoes, rice: Yummy. At least I refrained from taking pictures of that - because I wrongfully assumed they'd have some sort of internet presence.
After some ice cream we then took the local train (NOT the tram!) to get back - WAY more relaxing... (especially after quite an "intense" Friday night and a Saturday of helping friends move house after around 3 hours of sleep). So here's the pics.

WE DID IT!!!!!

Getting tickets for our ride back. (Notice the sophisticated parental job sharing, especially with mom paying...)
